GERMANY, Volkstadt Rudolstadt, Late 18th century Two porcelain covered cups and their saucers decorated with polychrome enamels in pagoda-shaped medallions with black and gold scrolls, seascapes and a castle. Decorations enhanced with small scenes and Chinese characters in Cassius purple. Lid handles forming a laurel wreath embellished with pink bows. Marked. A chip on the rim, a chip, a pink bow on the lid. One handle broken. H 7.4 cm with lid - Diam. 5.2 cm , saucer: Diam. 10.8 cm
