BACHELET Emile Just (1892-1981) Covered pot in bronze-glazed ceramic, the hexagonal body decorated with chevrons, the lid featuring a nude with a fan. Art Deco period. Signed Bachelet et Taguz (?), debossed Manufacture de Boulogne (Hauts-de-Seine) - made in France under the base. Height: 24.50 cm - Small chip on the inside edge of the box. Note: the lid is a variation on the sculpture "La danse", which the artist presented in 1925 at the Exposition des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes in Paris.
