BEAUTIFUL OFFICER'S SET comprising :
- Pair of chinstrap with detached and guilloched-embossed scales, star bobbin
- Pair of Colonel epaulettes, buttons marked STATUS MAJOR DES PLACES
- Crown eagle belt buckle
- Gold star of the Legion of Honour, some lacks of enamel, ribbon with boufette
- Order of the Lily, small accident to the enamels
This set belonged to two officers who served under the First Empire and until the July Monarchy BRETON Jean Claude and BRETON Jean Baptiste.
We enclose a photocopy of the military statements. Presented in a beautiful carved mahogany display case.
Attached is a straw inlaid case containing a cigar debris with a handwritten label "This cigar was given to me by a Prussian officer on October 16, 1870, the day of the meeting at BAINS".
