LOUIS XII AND ANNE DE BRETAGNE (1499) Bronze medal.113 mm. Nicolas Leclerc, Jean de Saint Priest and Jean Lepère (1500). Bust to the right of Louis XII, topped with a mortar decorated with a wreath of flowers of lilies. He's wearing the necklace of the Order of Saint Michael. At the top, a lion turned left (arms of the city of Lyon.) R/ Bust to the left of Anne of Brittany, wearing a veil on which the royal crown is placed. The field started with fleurs-de-lis and ermine. A lion as in law. Medal offered by the city of Lyon to Louis XII and Anne of Brittany. Coin treasure, pl.V n°1. Mazerolle n°27 Two hanging holes. Beautiful example of old cast iron.
