China, late 17th - early 18th century Libatory cup in dark rhinoceros horn, the wall with eight sides cut on a small flared foot, the outer edge underlined with a frieze of Greek and stylized petals, another frieze of Greek surrounding the inner edge, a flat handle decorated with flowers. (Accidents) H. 7 cm - W. 12,5 cm Weight: 139.5grs NOTE AUX ENCHERISSEURS / IMPORTANT NOTE TO BIDDERS + Rhinoceros horn specimen (Rhinocerotidae sp.) pre Convention, prior to July 1st 1947 and therefore in compliance with EC Rule 338/97 of 09/12/1996 art.2- Wmc, and prior to July 1st 1975 and therefore in compliance with the French decrees of August 16th 2016 and May 4th 2017. For an exit of the European Union, a CITES re-export will be necessary, this one being the responsibility of the future buyer. The issuance of such a document is not automatic.
