PART OF A BRACELET THAT BELONGED TO QUEEN OLGA OF GREECE (1851-1926).
In gold, consisting of two oval-shaped medallions decorated with two blue enamelled monograms representing the initial W of Prince Wilhelm (William) of Denmark, future King George I of Greece (1845-1913) and the initial O of Grand Duchess Olga of Russia, future Queen Olga of Greece (1851-1926), surmounted by a royal crown and held by a blue enamelled ribboned bow. Each of the medallions opens with a photographic portrait of the prince and his wife. Slight wear and tear over time, but good general condition.
Foreign work, from the second half of the 19th century, without apparent hallmarks.

Gross weight: 42 grs.
Provenance : gift offered on the occasion of the marriage of Prince Wilhelm (William of Denmark (1845-1913)) with Grand Duchess Olga Constantinovna of Russia (1851-1926), celebrated in St Petersburg, October 27, 1867. Then preserved in the descendants of her son, Prince Nicholas of Greece (1872-1938).
