BRACELET in 14k gold, silver and polychrome enamel composed of 6 railway tokens awarded to Nicolas Ossipovich Mikhnevich, a high-ranking official of the Russian Empire, director of the office of the Minister of Railways in 1889 during the reign of Alexander III (1881-1894), comprising from left to right joined by links: - Token in honour of the completion of the construction of the St. Petersburg Sea Canal in gold and polychrome enamel. Good condition. Russian Empire, late 19th century. No apparent markings. A similar token is reproduced in Werlich R., Jettons of Imperial Russia, 1985, p.68. - Token in honour of the completion of the Warsaw-Bromberg and Warsaw-Vienna railways in gold, silver and polychrome enamel. The enamel is missing. Russian Empire, reign of Alexander II, circa 1870. No apparent markings. - Token in honour of the completion of the Moscow-Kursk railway on 5 September 1868 in gold and polychrome enamel. Good condition.
