Delft, Adrien Bemain, 1693-1695. 5 volumes in-4, fawn calf, triple gilt fillet, spine gilt, inside spine roulette, red edges (contemporary binding). Bourgeois & André, SHF, n°5128. A pastor in Alençon from 1665 to 1685, Benoist (1640-1728) emigrated at the time of the Revocation with most of his followers and settled in Delft. Involved in all kinds of negotiations, he endeavoured to defend his fellow believers against the accusations against them. Dos redone.
