Original edition of this work, certainly the most interesting to consult on the finances of the Empire (Blanqui). Napoleon's Minister of Finance throughout his reign, the Duke of Gaëte (1756-1841) was appointed Governor of the Banque de France during the Restoration. Ex-libris manuscript on the forgery: M. Louis Thabaud 27 October 1818. Large margin copy, bound on pamphlet. Aureole and traces of wetness on the first and last leaves.
