Artist - Hervé MORVAN (1917-1980) "Groupe Paul Emile Victor - Lot 55
Artist - Hervé MORVAN (1917-1980) "Groupe Paul Emile Victor presents Le Pavillon de la Nature d'Allain Bougrain-Dubourg" from 1968 to 1974. Imp St Martin. 38X30cm / 14,9x11,9in. Original poster. Lithograph. Cond A. It is from his 18 years old that with a group of friends Bougrain Dubourg sets up a travelling exhibition which will last 6 years throughout France to rehabilitate the unloved animals. A premonitory poster that aimed to raise awareness about the state of nature and its protection. The artist chose a drawing of an owl, symbol of wisdom, but also of visual acuity to encourage the crowds to open their eyes to the environment. Our small poster is a trial print with the advantage of having the elements in black on the back. Each poster will be put in a tube, or grouped in a tube with the other lots from the same buyer.
