Cinema - Eryk LIPINSKI (1908-1991) "Historia wspolczesna" 1960. Imp CWF. 80.5x57cm / 31.7x22.5in. Original poster. Lithograph. Cond A. Polish surrealist poster for a dramatic film. It reminds us of Magritte's work. The poster artist who studied at the Warsaw Fine Arts School was imprisoned in Auschwitz during the Second World War. In 1991 he was awarded the title of Righteous Polish Righteous Among the Nations. In 1948 he won seven first prizes at the International Poster Exhibition in Vienna and in 1964 first prize for the best political poster of 1963. Each poster will be put in a tube, or bundled in a tube with the other lots from the same buyer. Original poster. Lithography. Cond A. Polish surrealist poster for a dramatic film. In 1991 he received the title of Polish Righteous Among the Nations. In 1948 he was awarded with the first seven prizes at the international poster exhibition in Vienna and in 1964 the 1st prize for the best political poster of 1963. Each poster will be put in a tube, or grouped together in a tube with the other lots of the same buyer.
