Document: A study by Maelyss Haddjeri, doctoral student at the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes, author of a research paper entitled "Le Livre d'anatomie de Bartolomeo Passerotti (1529-1592), une possible reconstitution" (The Anatomy Book of Bartolomeo Passerotti (1529-1592), a possible reconstitution), attributing the drawing to Bartolomeo Passerotti and to a pupil of his workshop, possibly Tiburzio Passarotti (Bologna 1553 - id.; 1612), will be handed over to the purchaser. The author places the drawing at the time of the artist's return to Bologna, in the early 1560s, "when Passerotti's motifs were still largely tinged with Roman culture and clearly Michelangelo inspired".
