Signed Gilbert Albert, hallmark of master and numbered (608) Size : 5 x 4 cm. - Gross weight: 26.74 g. Accompanied by a blue leather cordon, the silver clasp bearing the Gilbert Albert hallmark. About Gilbert Albert: Gilbert Albert (1930-2019) was a Swiss artist jeweler and multiple Diamond International Award winner. From 1955 onwards, he created revolutionary watch designs for the watchmaker Patek Philippe and later for Omega. In 1962, he decided to devote himself exclusively to jewellery and opened his first workshop. Inspired by sculpture, abstract art and unusual materials in jewellery (raw minerals, tektites (moldavite), fossils (ammolite, dinosaur bones), insect shells (beetles), his work has a number of points in common with that of Jean Vendome, whom he was a friend. Gilbert Albert's compositions are generally more symmetrical.
