MEMLING Hans (After) Seligenstadt am Main ca. 1435 - Bruges 1494 Triptych of the Adoration of the Magi, known as the Jan Floreins Triptych Oil on copper, affixed to a wooden panel for the central panel. (Left panel: small gaps on the red coat of Saint John) 1 - In the centre: the Adoration of the Magi (H. 47,5 - W. 56,5 cm) 2 - Left panel: The Nativity. On the reverse: Saint John the Baptist with the lamb, with the Baptism of Jesus in the waters of the Jordan in the background; 3 - Right panel: The presentation of the Child Jesus in the Temple. On the reverse: Veronica with the veil in the image of Christ.
