Portable universal sundial in engraved ivory with denticulated frieze and brass decoration. Outer faces: equinoctial dial at 1-12 o'clock twice, marking the half hours with polar dial in the center, 8-12-4. Perpetual calendar disk signed Jacques Senecal A Dieppe fecit. Inner faces: type 1 lunar dial with three discs, the smallest decorated with a rosette surmounting a crowned shield bearing the initials JVD, the second engraved with 30 days, the largest graduated 1-12 hours twice surrounded by the months divided into days 10-20-30/31. Graduated analemmatic dial V-XII-VII, flat hand, table of nineteen French cities with their latitude, cardinal directions and the circular compass dial graduated four times 90°.
