STEINLEN Théophile Alexandre, 1859-1923 At the popular ball black pencil, pen and black ink on paper (insolation, sheet fixed on the edges, some freckles and small accidents on the edges), signed in the lower right corner with sending: to Delphi Fabrice cordially 52 x 35 cm Fabrice Delphi (1877-1937) was a journalist, essayist and writer, mainly of popular novels. He collaborated with the magazine L'Estampe et l'affiche and Gil Blas, as well as with the gallery du Barc de Boutteville, an avant-garde gallery that presented the young painters of the impressionist, symbolist and nabis movements.
