(ink a bit pale), handwritten headings "Armée des Incats," address. The black general proposes to the English an alliance against the French (while General Rochambeau is trapped in the Cape; he will surrender on November 19). He informs the English admiral "that two armed schooners coming out of the Cape are in front of Caracol & have tried to make a decente. I repelled them vigorously. If the admiral sends him arms and reinforcements, "we could take these two schooners as well as some packages of cartridges and some gargoyles for Desperiers. I will keep you informed of these supplies, payable in local currency. The English could also send "a trustworthy officer with an interpreter so that we can deal with all the points and take measures to take the fort dauphin that I could bring by land and you by sea and fix the time [...].
