Appointments in the Army of the Princes by the Count of Artois, "uncle of the King, Lieutenant General of the Kingdom". "From the King and the Regent of France", the intention of the Regent being "that the Princes of the Royal Blood be maintained in the rights and possession which are acquired to them, and foreseeing that the current distance of the Regent could give place to long delays of the expedition of the commissions and patents deserved by the services to the War of our very dear and well loved cousins princes of the Royal Blood" the dukes of Bourbon and Enghien, it authorizes Louis-Joseph de Bourbon prince of Condé to declare to the duke of Bourbon" that the Regent of France for the King, named him Lieutenant General of the Armies of his Majesty; to the duke of Enghien that the Regent has similarly named him Marshal of Camp to the aforementioned armies and that their commissions in patents dated February 1, 1793 will be sent [...Thirdly to receive the Duke of Enghien knight of the Royal and military Order of St Louis "...
