He intervenes in favor of his brother, Robert LINDET, arrested the day before, by sending a memory "that I hastened to redraw while his sequestration put him in the impossibility of dealing with his defense. No one knows better than you the immensity of the work to which he has given himself up, the probity which has presided over his operations. You will do justice to his intentions in a struggle from which he withdrew as soon as he saw that it could compromise public tranquility"...
