FIRST COLLECTIVE EDITION, containing the political and economic writings of the author, who was a founding member of the Société des Amis des Noirs. It includes, in particular, volume III, the famous Discourse on the slave trade, first published in 1790, and the Discourse on the troubles of Saint-Domingue. Volume IV has a particular title page and includes the Pièces intéressants serving to note the principal events that took place under the rule of J. Pétion. Spine faded.
