BECHIR carpet (Central Asia), middle of the 19th century Dimensions : 370 x 170cm. Technical characteristics : Wool velvet on wool foundation. Seven cruciform floral motifs are placed on a brick red background, they are delimited by multicolored broken lines with a decoration of florets. The field is completed by a sowing of different and varied flowers. The main border is decorated with stylized and polychrome "batrachians".
