MAISON AUCOC Ainé Travel kit box in blackened wood veneer and brass fillets, the lid decorated with a cartouche engraved with the arms of alliance of the families of Pierre de Bernis and Mouchet de Battefort de Laubespin topped by a crown of count framed by two griffins with the motto "The strongest after the eagle". The interior is covered with velvet and blue leather. It contains four bottles, three round boxes, three rectangular boxes of cut glass, an inkwell, the lids engraved in silver 1st title (Minerve hallmark, master goldsmith Aucoc l'Ainé). The upper tray reveals a compartmentalized tray intended to receive the sewing kit (incomplete). It contains a silver spoon, figured, a file, two knives, a boot hook, a corkscrew, a silver die 1st title (Boar's head hallmark) and a penholder, the end forming a figured seal. The lower level consists of compartments and boxes (empty). The box signed L. Aucoc Ainé in Paris. It is protected by a fawn leather carrying case, the top with a count's crown on it. 28 x 20.50 x 15.60 cm - Weight of the silver : 296.40 g - Crack on the lid, missing a box (lid present), small accidents and missing.
