Candy box of round form out of gilded metal with rich engraved decoration and opened out of friezes of interlaces and pearls. It rests on three feet in appliqué stylizing scrolls. 20th century H. 3 cm - L. 6,5 cm A photograph of the bonbonnière taken by the Klisthenis studio in Athens, exclusive photographer of Aristotle Onassis, is attached. Provenance: Gift offered to the father of the current owner, guest of the wedding of Jacky Kennedy (1929-1994) and Aristotle Onassis (1903-1975) This candy box was part of a series of fifteen pieces in gilded metal out of thirty in total, the rest being in porcelain, intended to contain the sugared almonds and having been offered to the guests of the wedding on October 20, 1968 on the island of Skorpyos.
