January 21, to the administrators of the Department of Paris, in favor of the artists who desire for their next meetings one of the rooms of the Academy of Painting and Sculpture in the Louvre; with a long autograph postscript. 28 January, to THIERRY, Intendant of the Gardemeuble du Roi, asking for "information on the work of the various persons who have worked in 1791 on the inventory of the Crown diamonds and other effects of the Gardemeuble", and on the price at which it is necessary to pay for this work, because the jewelers claim the payment of it.4 February, to the Mayor of Paris PÉTION, about a letter coming from Chalons which denounces "a plot formed to remove from Paris a great character [...the King is far from applying what this letter says about a great personage; strong of his feelings and of his will, His Majesty cannot believe that one dares to advise him a demarche as contrary to his engagements as to his duties and to his interests; but she thought that it was convenient to call the attention of the Municipality on individuals, announced at least as suspects "...
