Signed: Lazare Carnot, Charles Cochon, Joseph Eschassériaux, Antoine Fourcroy, Pierre-Antoine Laloy, Robert Lindet, Merlin (de Douai), Jacques-Alexis Thuriot and J.B. Treilhard.- 19 fructidor (September 5). Decree authorizing the Commission of Transport to make pay to the citizen Francony the sum of 4000 livres, "to refund him of his advances and to compensate him for his pains, and care to arrive at the execution of the model of suspended carriage for the transport of the wounded of which he is the inventor"... Signed: Carnot, Ch. Cochon, J.F.B. Delmas, Eschassériaux, R. Lindet, Merlin (of Douai) and Treilhard. -21 Vendemiaire III (October 12). Decree that the workers "accustomed to the work of trains, rubbing and generally to the service of the rivers of whatever place they are, will go without delay to the workshops established for the supply of Paris [...] can neant-moins, those of the aforementioned workers who had made contracts with the District of Auxerre in fructidor for the undertaking of the re-establishment and the maintenance of the roads, to be replaced in the aforementioned work by prisoners of war"...
