L.A.S., on board the frigate La Révolutionnaire in Port-Royal (Jamaica) December 25, 1803, to Rear Admiral Sir John Thomas Duckworth, commander of H.M. British naval forces in Jamaica; 2 pages in-4. Following the admiral's intention, Boyé's two "colored servants" go aboard the corvette theSharp : "the younger one, destined to go to Charlestown by the American brik the Vigilant, which must leave incessantly, will be claimed by MissBenigne Najat to whom I entrust him [...] As for the other, whom I attest to be a free man, I desire, according to the intention he has shown me, that he may go to the island of Cuba by one of the next opportunities"...
