Edmond ROSTAND (1868-1918).L.S., written by his wife Rosemonde, Cambo; 2 1/2 pages in-12 on Etchegorria letterhead (deuill; framed). He had "consented to my son appearing in an assault that he was to organize for the benefit of the poor"; but his great bereavement prevents him from going, and he would like that before appearing there, "my little boy should have become, by a longer practice of arms, a little stronger and a lot less timid".
