Series auctorum omnium qui de Francorum Historia. Et rebus Franciscis cum ecclesiasticis, tum secularibus, scripserunt. (Ab exordio Regni Franciae ad nostra usque tempora), Lutetiae Parisiorum, 1663, 1 vol. In-12 Folded vellum, spine annotated in ink, traces of soiling and cap tasselled. A collection of writings by several 17th century historians of France, including Andrea Du Chesne (1584-1640), considered the "father of modern history" and his son François Du Chesne (1616-1693), historiographer and originator of this work. In his epistle, Du Chesne fils addresses the King, mentioning his father's first works in the service of his majesty who, in order to follow up on the work of historians from neighboring kingdoms, commissioned Andre Du Chesne to transcribe the history of France.
