First edition, with frontispiece and 4 folding tables, of this collection of "gossip" with several chapters on crime, theft, prostitutes, pimps, etc. (Le Clère, n°691.) Engraved armorial bookplate of the de Bauffremont family. Small paper loss on title page of volume II. Upper head of volume I skilfully restored, one hinge cracked in volume II.
