AEROSTATION. - Admission ticket granted to MM. les gardes nationaux, at a cost of one franc for two people, for the experiment that will take place at the Champ-de-Mars on Sunday, April 20. [1817]. Dimensions: 120 x 97 mm. Very rare item: a ticket to attend Jean Margat's ascent of the Cerf Zéphire in 1817. Printed on paper and decorated with a woodcut depicting Margat as a Polish lancer mounted on the Cerf Zéphire. Monogrammed stamp, probably that of the aeronaut Robertson.
