Discovery of the principle of radioconduction by Édouard Branly (1844-1940): [Édouard Branly] discovered that iron filings, which normally conduct electricity very poorly, became good conductors when subjected to the effect of Hertzian waves. This is how he describes his discovery [...] In a way, I had created the transmitting and receiving apparatus of T.S.F. (Philippe Zoummeroff in En français dans le texte, n°315).
