In-8, shagreened calf, framed with gilt roulette, spine decorated with gilt fillets and a diamond pattern with a gilt trefoil or star in the center (Period binding).
Original 1802 edition with a relay title.
It is adorned with 5 engraved intaglio plates depicting various instruments and machines used in the manufacture of eaux-de-vie, and a fold-out table of a Tarif à l'usage du commerce de l'eau-de-vie, proof of Holland. A large part of the work is devoted to aromatic vinegars.
