Guillaume APOLLINAIRE (1880-1918). L.A.S., [Paris March 25, 1918], to Mlle Valentine GROSS [future Valentine HUGO]; 2 pages small in-4, envelope. He had an appointment at her home "this morning with La Fresnaye and Cocteau. La Fresnaye's letter did not reach me until 2 a.m., as a result of the bombing". He asks her to ask La Fresnaye "if this little meeting could not take place tomorrow, Tuesday"; if so, he will inform Cocteau by telephone.
