Bonbonnière from the Wedding of Tzaky Kennedy-Aristotelis Onassis 20.10.1968 in Skorpios, "ile Grec". Round candy box in gilded metal with rich chased and openwork decoration of interlacing friezes and pearls. It stands on three scrolled feet. 20th century H. 3 cm - L. 6.5 cm Enclosed is a photograph of the bonbonnière taken by the Klisthenis studio in Athens, exclusive photographer to Aristotle Onassis. Provenance: Gift given to the current owner's father, who was a guest at the wedding of Jacky Kennedy (1929-1994) and Aristote Onassis (1903-1975). This bonbonnière was one of a series of fifteen gilded metal pieces out of a total of thirty, the remainder being porcelain, designed to hold sugared almonds and offered to the wedding guests on October 20, 1968 on the island of Skorpyos.
