Oval miniature (some wear and restoration) Silver-plated metal frame.
On the reverse, an inscription engraved in the metal: Ange Pitou (?) par Augustin.

The inscription on the reverse seems to refer to the counter-revolutionary journalist and writer Louis Ange Pitou (1767 - 1846), close to Rivarol, deported to Cayenne (1798 - 1799) and Libraire du roi under the Restoration.
