VATICAN Reunion of nine papal medals, a silver stamp, a silver coin and a Way of the Cross. - Case containing nine medals commemorating the year 1975, four round ones representing the Holy Year 1975, the beatification of John XXIII, the pilgrimage and the XXV anniversary of the Dogma; and five rectangular ones depicting St. Peter's Square, the Basilica of St. Mary Major, the Basilica of St. John Lateran, the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls and the Pietra Santa. Signed F. BENEDETTI. - Silver reproduction (800) of the L. 25 stamp from the "Centenary of the Second Italian War of Independence" series, offered to blood donors. Issued in 1650 copies by the Institut national de l'imprimerie et de la monnaie. In its "Associazione Filatelico-Numismatica Intercral - Roma" presentation box. Weight : 15 g. - Silver coin (985) "Homage to Dante". Obverse: bust of Dante in front of an architectural décor; inscription "MONTI MARAVIGLIAR S'ANCOR T'ABBAGLIA - 1265-1321" around the edge. Reverse: tripartite decoration with, at top, a bearded man's face in the center of a flamboyant triangle; at left, stylized lightning bolts splitting foliage; at right, two praying hands splitting a cloud. Signed DRIUM. Weight : 60 g. - case containing eight plates, the first featuring Christ on a wooden cross, the other seven representing the 14 stages of the Stations of the Cross. The front cover embossed with the inscription "JHS", title-piece with the inscription "CHEMIN DE CROIX" in a double gilded fillet. Ed° Souvenirs de Notre-Dame de Lourdes.
