Puccini" strapless evening gown in mouse organza embroidered with gold and silver lame featuring butterflies, ears of wheat and vegetation, articulated in three pieces, a bustier, a belt and a long skirt slightly slit on the bottom at the back.
Missing label.
A similar lot is reproduced in Dior, Christian Dior 1947 - 1957, Assouline, 2016, p.335.
Strapless waist: 60 cm
Waist belt: 62 cm
Skirt waist: 80 cm (skirt readjusted in width with additional fabric, a number of years after purchase).
The readjustment band can be subtracted, as its materials are useful for restoring the original pieces.
Gold and silver blade missing, stains, modifications, wear.

Bodice waist circumference: 60 cm
Belt waist circumference: 62 cm
Skirt waist circumference: 80 cm (the skirt has been readjusted in width with the addition of fabric a number of years after acquisition)
