Very important and rare collection of scientific memoirs by members of the Institut d'Égypte, most of which were originally published in the periodical la Décade égyptienne. (De Meulenaere, p. 144; Monglond, V, p. 206.)
It includes articles by Denon, Geoffroy de Saint-Hilaire, Monge, Berthollet, Desgenettes and others. De Meulenaere lists some unpublished articles.
Decorated with 3 plates and 3 folding tables.
A very attractive copy from the library of Château de Laplagne (bookplate).
