First edition of this important work on the history of agronomic education and its new methods.
The work consists of 26 memoirs, published in different cities (Orléans, Troyes, Compiègne), each dedicated to a member of the nobility whose coat of arms appears on the colored plates illustrating them.
The copy is complete with all 26 memoirs, illustrated with a black emblematic figure and 29 color-enhanced figures.
The headband with the arms of the King of Prussia is not printed, and plates 2 and 3 of memoir no. 20 are missing.
