In-8, bradel green vellum, speckled edges (Modern binding). First separate edition of this famous speech that made the author's reputation. In it, Rivarol utters his famous formula: Ce qui n'est pas clair n'est pas français (What is not clear is not French). Tchémerzine gives this edition as the original, but Candaux, En français dans le texte, 177, describes the first appearance of the text in Berlin by Decker at the same date. Attached: RIVAROL.
