Collège de France. "Le college de France est l'etablissement le plus celebre et le plus utile de l'univers à l'instruction publique. We are going to start our courses again; but if we don't have wood, we won't have listeners". He asks to be granted 3 cords of wood, and the carriages to transport it...
Attached is a P.S. by 6 professors at the Collège de France, 1er pluviôse IV (January 21, 1796; half-page in-4). "We, the undersigned professors at the Collège de France, in order to comply with the law, declare that we are all sincerely attached to the Republic and that we have an eternal hatred of royalty"...
