Bronze plaque after MORLON. Obverse: AERIAL NAVIGATION. In the center a victory rising into the air, to its right a biplane and to its left an airship above landscapes; signed lower right A. MORLON. Reverse: LE RÊVE CONÇOIT / LA SCIENCE RÉALISE. The dream on the left in the form of a man observing birds and on the right in the form of a worker assembling an engine, central cartouche blind; signed A. MORLON on right. In its case, bronze and cornucopia on the edge. 72 x 100 mm. Note: medal presented at the Salon des artistes français in June 1909. Our thanks to the club numismatique de Mâcon.
