DELFT - 18th century - Lot 70
DELFT - 18th century Two circular polychrome earthenware plates, one decorated with a medallion in the center of the basin with the profile of a lover against a landscape background, around which a semi of flowers and punctuations develop, the wing decorated with a frieze of petals, the second decorated with a flower basket, flowers and foliage. Mark of Jan van der Laen on the underside of the second one. Diameter: 23 cm - 26 cm accidents, one crack NB: For the angel plate, a similar model is referenced in the catalog of the Musée des beaux arts de Reims, under invetaire n° RS996.1.89.
