GASTON JOLLY Fils in Paris Gilt bronze clock depicting the repose of Diana the Huntress. The white enameled dial, signed, shows the hours in Roman numerals and rests on a rocky base. Diana, dressed in antique style, is wearing her quiver slung over her shoulder and holding her bow in her left hand. The whole rests on an octagonal base embellished on the front with a hunting scene. Empire period. 38 x 12 x 49 cm - Missing: a foot, decorative elements, the pendulum.
