Large in-8, brown morocco, special gilt plate on covers, spine decorated with gilt fillets, inner frame decorated with three gilt fillets and a gilt motif at corners, gilt head, untrimmed, cover and spine, slipcase (René Kieffer). Color illustrations by Alfred Le Petit. Edition of 600 copies, this one of 50 on japon with a suite of black engravings and an original unpublished watercolor. A fine copy, despite the slightly faded spine.
