IMPORTANT POSER CARTEL in brown tortoiseshell veneer and brass, inlaid in part and in counterpart with foliate and floral scrolls, the chased ormolu dial with twelve enameled parts and blue Roman numerals, signed, as is the movement, MYNUEL A PARIS.
Rich ornamentation of chased and gilded bronzes decorated with acanthus leaves, flowers, female and satyr mascarons, foliage scrolls and shells, the top adorned with a statuette of Chronos seated holding his scythe.
Regency period (accidents and missing parts, notably to the veneer on the inside of the door and to the scythe, restorations).
