Madame VAUDE-GREEN (1822-1902) Album for Madame Sophie Emion, "Hommage à la photographe". Madame Vaudé-Green, born Marie Mélina Grin, was a French photographer specializing in religious and historical works. "Adoration of the Shepherds" by Jose de Ribera, "Rembrandt d'après peinture" by Rembrandt, "Titian's Beauty" by Titian, "The Three Fates" by Michelangelo, "Holy Family" by Murillo, "Marriage of the Virgin" by Raphael" ... c. 1860 38 albumen prints mounted on album pages, photographer's credit, handwritten title on album page. The album cover is in wood, the plate beautifully decorated with a cartouche with the monogram S.E. surrounded by ivy. Approx. 18 x 12.5 cm to 15.5 x 22.5 cm (31 x 24 cm)
