The Christy collection is mainly focused on archaeology, but also ethnography: "Cut flints, spearheads, knives and daggers", "Polished and cut stones", "Bone and stone tools", "7 specimens of pottery from Central Africa". Uncropped set of 40 albumen prints, caption label on back, accompanied by its original document holder bearing the title "Mansell & Co's British Museum Photographs Antiquities of Britain and Foreign Medieval Art".
