Large wooden menagère decorated with a gilded brass cartouch - Lot 150
Large wooden menagère decorated with a gilded brass cartouche on the lid, two folding handles and brass hinge brackets. The interior is sheathed in red leather and fitted with three removable trays. It includes:
- 18 entremets knives, forged silver handles and steel blades signed "TOURON fournisseur de l'Empereur", gross weight: 740 gr
- 18 dessert forks, weight: 850 gr
- 28 dessert spoons, weight: 1,408 gr
- 18 fruit knives, silver-filled handles and silver blades signed TOURON-PARISOT, gross weight: 840 gr
- 26 small spoons, weight: 656 gr
- 2 serving spoons, weight: 138 gr
- 2 sprinklers, weight: 150 gr
- 1 pie server with silver handle, gross weight: 148 gr
Set of pieces monogrammed "aL" on the handle. Minerva head and Eugène Queillé goldsmith's hallmarks (an antique oar between the initials PQ (1847-1895)).
