Breakfast travel set in a rectangular mahogany case decorated with steel fittings featuring faceted nails, the lid topped by a movable handle, the escutcheon keyhole. It opens onto a compartmented interior sheathed in red leather, housing a cylindrical silver selfish teapot (hallmarked "Poinçon vieillard 1er Titre Paris"), the rim with a frieze of water leaves, the double openwork lid with squares, the spout featuring a horse's head and the handle in blackened wood, and a baluster-shaped silver milk jug (hallmarked "Poinçon vieillard 1er Titre Paris"), the lid with a frieze of water lilies, the removable side handle in blackened wood, a cut-crystal and silver coffee pot (Poinçon vieillard 1er Titre Paris), a small cut-crystal carafe, a cup and saucer as well as a sugar bowl in Paris porcelain with gilded decoration, and a silver sprinkling sugar spoon (Poinçon petite garantie Paris) featuring a shell.
All pieces are figured "CL", the silver pieces except for one of the pourers bear the "JLV" goldsmith's hallmark, the pourer bears a different "AH" (?) crossed anchors hallmark.

A silver sugar tongs (1er coq 1er titre, hallmark of average guarantee Paris) weight: 28.7 gr, a passe-thé (hallmark minerve) weight: 10.5 gr and a silver-plated souvenir spoon from Carcassonne are included.
